Deer Salvage Permits

A deer cooperator permit issued by the Service allows the permittee to conduct deer carcass removal and handling operations on private land. The fee to apply for this permit is $100. A permit expires 1 year from the date it is issued. If the Service does not issue the permit, the fee shall be refunded. The applicant for this permit is required to provide the Department with the method the applicant will use to dispose of a deer carcass at the time the applicant applies for the permit.
