2020-2021 Migratory Canada Goose Lottery Application

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Maryland Park Service recently finalized the dates for waterfowl hunting for migratory Canada geese at Tuckahoe State Park. As in the past, hunting will be by permit only.

All goose hunting permits will be awarded through a lottery drawing. Completed applications should be mailed along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Tuckahoe State Park, 13070 Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657. Only one application per hunter is permitted. All applications must be received by the close of business (4:30 p.m.) on October 30, 2020. Permits will be selected by random drawing on November 5, 2020 at 1 p.m.

Permit recipients will be notified of their hunting date and pit location by email (please adjust your spam settings to allow for emails from tuckahoe.statepark@maryland.gov), unless you do not include an email address or specify that you’d prefer to receive yours via regular mail. Results of the drawing will not be given out over the telephone.

For more information or details, contact the Tuckahoe State Park office at (410) 820-1668, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
