The Department of Natural Resources is pleased to offer two new deer hunting opportunities at North Point State Park during the 2018-2019 hunting season: Bow Hunting and Managed Shotgun Hunting.
Archery hunters may obtain a permit to hunt on select days in November, 2018. Hunting is permitted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from November 2 - November 21.
Interested hunters must register with the Wildlife and Heritage Service and obtain the Free Central Region Hunt Permit. Hunters may apply for the Free Central Region Permit online at this link: https://webapps02.dnr.state.md.us/DNRHarmApp/Request.aspx?ParserValue=Gwynnbrook
A reservation is required to participate in this hunt. Participation in the opening day will be determined by a lottery drawing.
For more information about the bowhunting program at North Point, to register, or to participate in the lottery drawing, please contact the Gwynnbrook Wildlife Management Area at 410-356-9272.
A Managed Shotgun Hunt will take place on January 24 and 25, 2019.
