Tracking Local Land Trust Protected Lands Data

The Maryland Environmental Trust, Maryland Department of Planning and Maryland Department of Natural Resources held a joint webinar on March 1, 2024. Participants learn more about a collaborative effort to collect and map the most comprehensive land trust and private conservation organization protected lands data. This webinar discussed the goals and purpose of the project, explained the data collection process, and allowed time for participant questions.

Keepers or Chuckers: Keys to Good Records Management

More than twenty representatives from twelve land trusts attended a record keeping workshop on November 28, 2017 in Crownsville, MD. Participants discussed the importance of good record keeping, how to identify critical records and how to plan for getting records organized and protected for perpetuity.
