Fishing​

A four acre pond stocked with bluegill, catfish, sunfish and bass is open for bank fishing only. A Maryland Non-Tidal fishing license is required for persons 16 years and older. The pond is located at the southern end of Cedarforest Road.

Hunting

An area of Cedarville State Forest is designated for hunting. The trail map, found here and in the Forest Office, outlines the hunting area.

Hunters may enter/remain on park property outside of the regular posted hours provided that they are engaged in legitimate, authorized hunting activity. Hunting hours are one half hour before sunrise and one half hour after sunset. Refer to the hunting guide for sunrise/sunset times.​​​
