Mallows Bay Snakehead
Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Mallows Bay
I was on my kayak at Mallows Bay, Saturday July 21st. I caught 5 good size (15" - 19") largemouth bass using my small LiveTarget top water frog, but they where not the fish I was looking for. I was there to catch snakeheads. I saw a lot of them specialy the small 12 to 18 inch ones. When the tide started heading out that's the time I caught my target fish. 30 inches, 9 lbs.
(I think the fish was full of eggs but I wasn't able to open it up since I had a trip to California the following day. Will open it up when I get back though.)
